Our products are made with UPF 50 fabric. What is UPF 50 fabric?

UPF 50 in fabric refers to the Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of the material. It is a proportion of the amount UV radiation is impeded by the texture. UPF 50 implies that the texture will impede somewhere around 98% of UV radiation, permitting simply 2% to infiltrate the texture and arrive at the skin.

This is significant in light of the fact that openness to UV radiation can cause skin damage. Clothing with a high UPF rating, like UPF 50, can give an additional layer of security against the unsafe impacts of the sun's beams. It is particularly valuable for outside exercises like climbing, swimming, surfing and playing sports where delayed openness to the sun is logical.
